As a private practice speech pathologist for infants, children and adults, Paula demonstrates clinical expertise to help patients reach their maximum potential.  She has provided therapy services to patients for over 20 years and practiced in a variety of clinical settings to include: pediatric hospital, outpatient rehabilitation, SNF, LTAC, geriatric/psychiatric facility, and home health. 
 

Paula has diverse certifications which allow her to specialize in a variety of areas including feeding and swallowing, tongue thrust issues, verbal  apraxia, autism spectrum disorder, delayed speech and language, craniofacial anomalies, neuromuscular disorders, tongue thrust, early intervention, and dyslexia remediation and treatment. 

As a feeding and swallowing therapist, She sees patients for swallow dysfunction, oral aversion, oral motor weakness and picky eaters.  She is certified in Neonatal Oral Motor Assessment for Swallowing (NOMAS), Deep Pharyngeal Neuromuscular Stimulation (DPNS), Vital Stim, Neuro-Developmental Training (NDT), and trained in myofacial release, kinesotaping, and instrumentation for assessment using VFSS and Nasoendoscopy. 
 

Paula has presented at state and national conferences in the areas of sensory integration and communication, sensory integration and feeding, oral motor intervention, stuttering and instrumentation for swallowing assessment to include VFSS and Nasoendoscopy.
